Physio Trueup 10.44 Enable/Disable?

Hi,

I seem to of misplaced the enable/disable I can't find it in the settings no more either on app or the watch.

Can anyone help?

it's in the 10.44 watch system menu. And I think it will be removed from GC app, to be on by default....

on the app or the watch - go into menu - system.

Directly under system there are two options; physio true up toggle and pref condition toggle.

Looks like you might be ahead of the game. As noted it looks like PhysioTrueup will be set on with no option given to turn it off. Makes sense as can’t see much reason to have it disabled

I am on 10.44 - so if you are on the same and don't have this, you may have to peform a factory restore - but would first suggest rebooting watch as may just be a glitch - if that doesn't fix it then would look at a factory restore.

If on the Alpha - would then rasie that in the beta forums as may be a bug (or may be as per Phil suggests - not going to get an option any more which sort of makes sense, but can think of reasons why I would prefer to have the option - by all means set it as standard to on, but give us the option to turn off).

There is no need to do a factory restore.

To add further transparency:

We are in the process of improving Physio TrueUp across devices. The current Physio TrueUp process has certain situations where the metrics are not always carried across. The best example is a Fitness segment Edge cycle device vs. your watch.

The Physio TrueUp feature becomes automatic with the new v11.xx Alpha software update. Unless there are reasons the changes being made are delayed, everyone will have automatic Physio TrueUp once on the Q1 2023 official update. (To include all new generations on the same software version. IE: The Epix 2, Fenix 7, Quatix 7, Tactix 7, MARQ (Gen 2), D2 Mach 1 series.)

More will be learned after engineering completes the changes being made. I expect to learn more Q1 2023 when the official update is released. There will naturally be inquiry questions once in place. We will be happy to address those questions once there are clear solid answers of all changes made.

This was the only reason I was looking for the Physio TrueUp enable/disable there was supposed to be a work around for my 1030 plus and watch.

I don't use the edge device anymore. From my readings of the 1040 forums (on here) it contiues on that device as well.

hi Garmin - Chris, I am having these issues with my Epix as PTD and Edge 530. When I record an activity using the Garmin heart rate belt via Edge 530, the activity is recorded, uploaded to Connect and visible. However it is not counted into the Training Load or recovery. Why is that? After contacting support I am very unclear as the agent is just making things foggy. See attached screenshot.
