Handicap set in watch does not match handicap in Golf App on android phone

So I did my first 2 rounds with my new Epix Gen 2 watch this weekend and have finally figured out how to set my handicap the correct way, but the handicap set in the watch (36,6) does not match the handicap shown in the Garmin golf App on my android phone (36,4)... Anyone?

Are they maybe calculating different based handicaps and hence the issue: ie. Local Handicap or Index/Slope Method.

This part I figured out and is set correctly now because the STB points earned on a round match my handicap. But the phone app takes the results and settings from the watch, and in the phone app you can't set you're handicap so I assume the phone app takes the handicap setting from the watch. In this case I don't understand the difference in handicap between the two...

Will have to check with my Brother in Law as everything I have read/seen/heard (we set up his Fenix together for golf - he plays a lot) suggested that the handicap comes from the app and not the watch.

Playing with others is not supported with the Epix Gen2.

For your second suggestion it say's it's not applicable for Epix Gen2 but I could imagine this is the case on the phone app so it calculates my handicap based on the 2 rounds I did...
