Treadmill recalibration is not possible

Epix showed much higher space than my new treadmill. After first run I made the calibration not properly. However I cannot recalibrate as running again and stopping after 2km only Save option appears the Calibrate+Save (as in the manual) is missing, at least I do not find. I use:ver. 10.43.

    I have to ask again, because as far as I could see you did not react on the post of - did the watch (not the treadmill !!!) really show more than 1 mile or more than 1.5 km in the moment you stopped the treadmill activity? Did you use any external sensors (such as the HRM-Pro or a foot pod)?

    Hello Trax!
    Sure the watch showed more than 1 mile aka 2km! I do not use/have HRM-pro or foot pod not any external sensor.

    Hm, in that case I do not know. If it was really started as the built-in Treadmill activity, then those are the only conditions for having the Calibration in the menu. I would recommend repeating it, making a photo of the display before stopping, showing the final distance, and photos of the entire activity menu after stopping it. Perhaps we can spot something suspicious. If not, you can then contact the Support and send them the photos, documenting so well your issue.

    Yes it is thet treadmill activity. I repeated several times already. I even reset this activity hoping the reset will initiate the first time pop-up, but it did not work. Reading the manual I guess it is a bug in 10.43. Anyway I follow your advise and will document the issue, making  photos today. BTW how can I contact Garmin support? Could you give me the email?

    I've tried today twice running 2km at a same pace 5min/km without footpod or HRM and it has worked for me. Firmware v10.43.

    Running at that pace the calibration worked too.

    Hello Alberto!

    Thank you for your confirmation. It seems that something wrong is on my side. The only thing I did was renaming the activity, but I think it may not be the reson of malfunction. I'll keep on trying.

    I am curious if you confirmed the manual calibration actually worked after completing it: was the following run accurate on the treadmill?

    Yes..I'm really surprised but yes.

    It works very well on the treadmill but the instant pace is not as responsive as i'd like it to be If you change your pace fast(intervals) but it seems that it compensates that delay and at the end, the treadmill and the watch show the same distance. There is a lag that doesn't happen when I use the footpod.

    If you don't use any footpod or hrm-pro(or plus) you must control your run style as the distance and pace mostly depend on the movement of your left arm.

    Thanks. I will try again to calibrate manually my HRM-Pro.
