I can't set my jet lag advisor. New 10.43 software changlog says it has been added, but not on my watch.

  • Have you added the jet leg widget from the available widget list on the device to your (active) widget list?

i see ne widget to add

  • Some can only add it through Garmin Express. It feels unfinished. And we can't even seem to add trips to the GC calendar.

ok I'm just waiting for garmin to respond. they made a mistake in changelog or it is just another bug. Either way I'm done with lack of support or information regarding changes. Beta forums are full of bugs send by users. And there is no info regarding: changes or solving those problems. I paid for this watch and I'm not paid to be thei beta tester so maybe a little respect for all the people ttrying to help garmin in finding all the bugs and at least respond to those posts?

I mean the topic on epix jet lag advisor is like couple of days old. And niw they push new firmware with broken funtionality. Just one big lol.

Ps. I love my epix. Great watch. My first garmin product but last for sure. It is sad how they kill such a nice product with stupid bugs all around: wrong color here, wrong font there, do I really have to connect to my trainer when using their own hydration glance and adding water like 10x a day and if someone else is on a trainer possibly destroying theirs workout? really?

How lkng does it take to solve those bugs?

  • You currently need to add the glance via Garmin Express. See my reply here: forums.garmin.com/.../1528011

You consider this way of install a glance a feature or a bug? Just out of couriosity.

And on a side not. Like a month ago I posted a bug considering garmin express on my windows laptop. Some of the apps/glances which I have installed like garmins own hydration app count twice (I even found a description of that problem on internet like years old, probably an app wich can behave like a glance and an app is consideret as two diffrent apps or somethin g like that), that makes me exceed garmins app limit by 5 (My connectIq limit is ok, apps are counted there ok) So even if i delete 5 apps which I use, it would be still impossible for me to install that glance as you describe through garmin express (it would still exceed my app limit and say i can't install anything)

So as far as I understand your way of solving of garmins problem, and I'm really glad ypu are trying to help me (and i know i can change hr zones a way it will show me only z1 nad z3 and kind of repair a broken color of z2) I don't thing paying such money for a product should push me to solving problems of multibillion company and using somerhinh with jmpression of using a pre alpha product. I did my best, reported like 10-15 bugs, heard nothing from them, status in all of them is under review, at the same time they pushed like 5 new firmwares. So i give up on garmin. I mean I love the product but i can't see my z2 hr as shown on a picture and i don't think they will reapair it anysoon. Same as adding running power as a new feature with same problem as hr, dark grey instead of light grey.

my idea was to move from wahoo to all garmin (epix,1040) but now i will move back to new wahoo (had for 4 years did 30k and had one reset during that day) and will move to ultra watch even i like epix more (and rate android over an iphone). for meany reasons.  Garmins q2 results drop by 20%, maybe they need 40% to start taking care of people who tries to repair their products.

Ok, so I added it from express. Now I have the glance. How do I use it? There is nothing in GCM.

  • Updated Official Status of the Jet Lag Feature:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The inclusion of the note in the v10.43 software change logs was incorrect. We still have some work to do to finalize the Jet Lag Advisor feature for the Epix 2 but rest assured we will be bringing the Jet Lag Advisor feature soon.

    Original Message  November 16th, 2022:

I am always happy to help. I have been waiting to be flagged on the feature since there are multiple posts with everyone researching their watch series for the feature being added.

    - I suspect there is a Connect Mobile APP component not yet updated for the Jet Lag feature since MARQ (Gen 2) owners see a Jet Lag Advisor in their Connect Mobile APP that is not being seen for other series yet.

It may be a little bit before I can get a solid answer for everyone but I am equally curious and as soon as I have an answer, I will update to let everyone know. Please stay tuned and thank you for your patience on this one.
