Someone posted a link to garmins documentation but it shows its for Edge devices. I was curious how to set this up. It seems to be an IQ app? I thought it was built in and all I had to do was upload the GPX courses and the watch would take over.
Add it to your map page (change layout to map + at least 1 data field) in an activity and it will show the distance to the next fork in the road. If it's named (e.g., a street name), it will show this name with the distance to this.

Sorry, I probably better should have placed a reaction to it instead of deleting my reaction. Yesterday I've tried on my ATB ride what @fjelsten mentioned; added the 'next fork' datafield. And this shows the name and distance to the next intersection or 'fork'.
