just heard that there is a new version of the Epix Gen 2

This is an Epix with Multi GNSS, Sapphire glass BUT Steel Body (not titanium).

Sapphire versions are 32GB and the non-sapphire is 16GB.

In the specific ad you linked to, it is the non-sapphire version so it would be 16GB. I am sorry for the confusion.
