I noticed a peculiarity on my Epix 2 (9.36) this past weekend during the Chicago 5k/full. I had inputted both events on my Garmin Connect iOS app's calendar and had been working towards them for several months. Got the time predictions, workout suggestions, etc. - all was great and fine till the morning of.
Fast forward to Saturday morning, and when I click on the calendar for the day, it says there's no suggested workout and then takes me to a screen showing 0:00.
As soon as I swipe across the screens, my watch showed some unknown character symbols and a weird series of rectangles and then rebooted itself. 15 seconds later, it's back on, I try the same thing, and it happens again. No harm no foul, I just used the regular run tracking and it ended up associating it with the event on its own anyways, but I thought that was a bit weird.
The same thing happened on Sunday, when I was just trying to see if I could replicate it again - I again immediately moved over to the regular run tracking after the reboot, and it mostly seems fine. I say mostly because the final race summary screen shows my distance, but not the time from the run - weird stuff.
Just wanted to mention this and see if anyone else had observed anything similar - a quick search of the forums found many other reasons for reboots, but just some feedback for the team in case this somehow wasn't known. I was able to replicate this again just now for some of the above pics by adding a dummy 5k event for later today, sync-ing it to my watch, going to the Calendar/daily suggestions, and netted the same outcome.
