HRV data is not recorded

Hi all,

I am trying to record the HRV data of activities and export it. I already turned on "Log HRV" in Setting -> Data Recording -> Log HRV.

But it seems like I could not see any HRV data recorded while I am able to view other data.

I appreciate it if everyone knows how to fix the issue.

Are you using an external heart rate strap? I believe that, like respiration data, during activities you need to use an external HR strap if you want to save the HRV data to the activity FIT file.

Thanks for your reply. I exported it as .fit file in Connect and I imported the .fit file to a 3rd party platform to view it. However, there is no HRV data in it.

How do you export it and where do you try to view the HRV data?

The question is whether the data is really not there, or just whether the 3rd party tool cannot read it? Did you look directly at the fit file, using Garmin's FIT CSV tool?
