EPIX 2 ! Problem buttons LIGHT and BACK LAP

No official recognition of the problem. Until recently, users reported that Garmin told them it was not a known issue. So they finally recognized at least that this is a common problem. I am afraid to use the watch in water for swimming for this reason - big chance of it stopping working.

Hi! Yes this is still a problem. I had to replace my 47 mm epix pro after two swims because of button issues. I am now using an old forerunner to track my swimming (zero issues even after years of swimming), replacement epix has been ok for everything else so far. Still a huge disappointment as it is meant to be a proper multi sport watch

Good to know. I was tempted, having gone back from epix2 to fenix5, but I will stick for now.

Did you experience any issue with the PRO?

not so far (4 months). I changed 5 EPIX 2 in a row in 5 months, then sold the latest are moved to PRO. So far no problem with that, though I've still not full condidence it will not happen again.

My Epix Gen 2 Sapphire was already replaced once.

Please give details. Which exact version -  Gen 2 or Gen 2 pro?  Same button problem after used in sea?
