Nylon straps from Amazon Abanen

Okay thanks. It just seems the velcro on the straps is too thick to go through the spring bars/pins.

They work fine on my epix 2.

I had the same problems with the tight squeeze, but it definitely works. And it's worth the "effort". These straps are gold. 

Great. I was just a little worried it's going to cause damage on the spring bar/pins. 

Tight squeeze on mine, but a bit of pushing gets them through pretty easily. Push just enough to get end of strap through and then pull from there.

Make sure you aren't trying to thread the bar end through - that side will never go through. You have to thread from using the other end - watch the video - shows it very well. Bar end is not meant to go through pins, its designed to prevent you strap from pulling through. Once fully threaded you effectively have a nylon bangle - this ensures that even if the outer velcro (bar end) loosens you will be less likely to loose your watch as results in a bangle (position inner velcro end so that when bar velcro end is loose and fully let out so the bar is against the pin, you can just stretch the nylon enough to get it over your wrist. You then just loosen/tighten from bar velcro end  when taking watch on/off. Makes for one of the most secure straps you can get as inner velcro locked between looped strap and your wrist; and bar velcro end cannot pull through pins.
