Lack of color options on Garmin watchfaces for epix 2

Any reason why there is a limited number of colors to choose from on the stock Garmin watch faces for the epix 2? It has an amoled screen capable of 65,000 different colors yet we're stuck with the same ol' 64 color palette.

I'd love to change my color schemes to match school or team colors.

I think it’s still early days for developers making watch faces. There is the ability to add photos as a background. You likely will see few solid color backgrounds though because they are power hungry.

I think it's the same for the other Garmin amoled screens (ex. Venu). You would think Garmin would want to show off the amoled screen more by having their stock watch faces have more than the standard color options.

I've also developed watchfaces and apps for the fenix line and was poking around at the latest API and don't see a way to use any colors beyond the stock 64 colors.

Garmin should adopt its interface with a colour scale, so that you can chose whatever colour you want.
