Saved Locations

You can delete all of the saved locations at once by attaching the epix to a computer, browsing to the \EPIX \Primary\GARMIN\Location folder, then deleting the Lctns.fit file. The file will be recreated once you detach the epix from your computer.

Hi @seilogramp, thanks for the info. Have tried it out and it works OK. Rather a long-winded way of doing things - I was hoping there was an option somewhere in the menu system.

There is not function on the watch to delete all waypoints.  Another method would be to use the Explore app to manage your waypoints including deleting them without the need to attach to a computer.

Hi @D_Estes, not used Explore before but have had a ‘play’ with it. Yes, I can upload and delete waypoints OK. It is still disappointing that a feature that was available on the Fenix 3 in 2015 has not been carried forward to today’s watches but I guess it is what it is!

A couple weeks ago, I submitted an request to Garmin that there should be a Locations management app on the watch.  You can do the same:
