I have tried creating a hiking course on the watch itself rather than use an online application like Garmin Connect. Even when I seem to be successful in entering start and end locations it creates a straight line path that does not follow the trail.
I would like to be able to create a route on the watch that follows the trails since I may be in locations without cellular data and so the mobile Garmin Connect App won't work. Is this possible?
