Because it takes time to implement and test that features before global release. Check "Beta program" on tabs above for instruction on installing Alpha and Beta firmware. Or wait patient, official release shoud be around the corner 

Garmin have now moved to a schedule of quarterly updates. However, as mentioned, there's a beta program that you can participate in if you want something more regular.

A big update is on the horizon and the change log is huge. 60+ features added, including Training Status 2.0, Training Readiness, HRV Status, SatIQ and many more.

Minimal. Garmin's getting ready for public release afaik.

It depends on what features you use on the watch and how annoying you may find some of the bugs. Probably best to review some of the bug reports and make a decision as once you have installed the beta you cannot uninstall it. If you leave the beta the program you have to wait until the next public release version.

The quarterly release has been announced today and will begin to rollout over the next few days. Page 3 of the linked PDF provides specific details by model. While the Garmin Announcement could be interpreted as providing the Morning Report to the Epix 2, it is not included per the PDF below.

I hope they have fixed the battery drain. Last three betas have killed the battery life on multiple users
