Strava live segment alerts don't work on running activities

They work using Garmin segments (after sending them to the watch) but they don't appear when selecting Strava segments. I have a Strava premium account.

There will only be alerts if you don't do a training or you are not navigating.

I was doing a normal run. No training nor navigating. Garmin ones work OK

Sounds like you didn't enable Strava segments in your Garmin Connect profile. First you have to be a Strava subscriber. The free account won't work. Next enable Strava Segments from you Garmin Connect mobile app under the Training/Segments menu.

Star the Strava segments in Strava that you want sync'd to your watch. Go for a run (not while executing a workout) and when you come to the segment the Live Segment data screen should pop up.

You can have segments pop up while navigation, you just have to create the course in Strava and star the course.

I did that. I've been using Strava live segments but I changed the other day from Garmin to Strava live segments and it didnn't work.

I've disconnected and connected Strava(premium) and Garmin accounts but nothing. Everything else works( I mean strava routes saved as Garmin courses....)
