It would probably depend on the ambient temperature - the closer that is to skin temperature, the closer the correlation between Tempe and watch is going to be
Definitely not the case for me. The watch temperature is nowhere close to ambient. Makes it pretty useless to be honest. I wish it was either body temp or real ambient not this in-between bs. Preference probably for body temp.
A thermal sensor inside a watch is only going to tell you the temperature inside the watch, after the temperature in the watch has stabilized. There's no way to get it to indicate the temperature of anything but the sensor itself.
