epix 2 keep asking to reset to default settings

Can you power the watch down by holding the power button until it shuts down? If yes, did you try a factory reset?

1. Ensure the watch is powered off.
2. Press and continue to hold down the Start and Back buttons.
3. Press and hold Power until the Garmin logo appears.
4. After the first beep release the Start.
5. After the second beep release the remaining buttons.

i press the button. I got both beeps. 
now the watch is on the welcome screen with EPIX written in the middle.

nothing is moving. 
should i wait for a long time ?

It should reboot normally after the factory reset process within a few minutes. It happened to me that it got stuck with the EPIX logo half way drawn.

If it doesn't work, connect the power and try again. If no success, I am running out of ideas and you'll have to contact Garmin support.

Little correction here. You need only hold top and bottom right while powering on. Then release top right at first beep, bottom right at second beep.

after more than 2hours with epix logo, it started again normally. 

i now have another problème with the Barack button which seems to be blocked in push state.

Hi, indeed I contacted Garmin support by phone, they ask me to return the watch and the new watch is on the way.

shipment is taken in charge by Garmin through UPS.
