Reverting to previous firmware

Hey, a few days ago i loaded alpha build 9.15 and since then I cannot connect any headphones to my watch. This is a huge problem when running since i'm currently using pace to train with and having to look down at my watch when doing intervals can be unsafe. I always depended on audio cues through the headphones. I want to revert to a previous build but I'm worried about what information I will lose in doing so.

Backdating will factory reset your watch. There's no way around it.

Thanks for the answer, i guess i'll have to wait it out and see if the new firmware will fix my issue

I think that another alpha will be released pretty soon so it can be worth to wait few days more.

Otherwise you should backup the folders that contain settings data and restore them after the backdate.

I found an old thread talking about it but not sure how much it's matching with the actual watches...in any case it's just to give you an overview of what you should do.

I think I will wait it out. Just so strange to me that my HR strap stays connected throughout my runs but the headphones disconnect and cannot be reconnected. I'm pretty sure that the strap is connected through BT and not ANT+.

If I back up the data, restore the watch to a previous firmware and then restore the data, does the watch also retain things like VO2Max, Training Status, etc or do I lose that?

Have you tried just doing a reset by holding down the light button until the watch turns off? Also, deleting the headphones and adding them again?
