Whatsapp message filter

if I disable the notification from one chat, the garmin will show the message coming from it in any case...

I woul like to avoid receiving notifications from all people and groups on whatsapp...

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Watch basically mirrors the notification bar on your phone. On android you do have the feasibility to turn notifications on and off for individual apps. That is not currently possibly on iOS (cause Apple locks it down) - though I have heard of people using focus etc to streamline what they receive on their watch.

If you mute a converstaion/group on whatsapp so that it doesn't go to your notification bar, then you shouldn't see it on your watch as a notification, and you wont, however whatsapp is a bit funny in that if you receive a notification from whatsapp, any unread threads will also show as notification (though you only get one not a multiple like you do with email).
