Activity not uploading (even to Garmin Connect)

Epix is connected to Wi-Fi and an iPhone 13 pro. Settings haven’t changed since yesterday, but today for some reason my run won’t upload. I’ve turned the watch off and on. Same with my phone. Manually synced via Wi-Fi and repeatedly within the GC app. Also, disconnected the watch from the phone and re-paired. Any ideas what is happening?

Picason, this has now become fairly common in the corrupt files I'm seeing. There is a phantom session #1 in the activity

Fixed using Fit File Repair tool.

Maybe invalid fit file. Connect your watch to your PC. Go to your Activities folder on the watch and copy the fit file to your desktop and try to upload.

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file being corrupt. Attach it to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Thank you both. I was able to use Android File Transfer on my Mac to get the file off the watch and into Garmin Connect, Strava, etc. Appreciate the guidance.

I have had this a few times when my phone doesn't have connectivity. It sometimes feels that the watch uses the app to upload to the Garmin servers and then re-syncs it down to the app. Anyway, I put together a tutorial on how to manage .fit files here https://www.trialanderror.uk/managing-fit-files-in-garmin-connect-strava/

what if the file is ok (I can manually add it to garmin connect), but automatic sync is randomly 'eating' activities via not syncing them. I had this problem 2 weeks ago with 8k run (only once), and in this week I'm missing 3 windsurfing activities (out of 4).
