Add data about sickness to the Garmin calendar

Hi,

I have had a Bad Cold for the last couple of days. I can see that both my HR and Stress level is high.

Wouldn't be good if you could add some data in the calendar when you start feeling sick. This would help the system to understand more.

Yes, I understand that this will not happen due to that Garmin can't trust the data without getting it verified, but I want my garmin to start using the data they have collected for 10 years ti¡o give me more heads-Up about things.

  • Maybe get a fibit and pay their subscription.

Unfortunately this area is so subjective as it can be more than illness that drives data - I see a lot of similarities between when I am ill and injured. Initial RHR and potentially HR trend tends to be my indicator as to whether ill or injured. But sleep, stress, body battery, RHR and HR trend all go a long way to providing indicators that all is not well.

I tend to use the notes section of my sleep to leave notes about the issue, so that when I look back if there is an issue with the my training or health that stands out I know to go to the sleep notes and check those.

  • Not <exactly> what you're after, but you know you can add a manual 'note' into your calendar - would at least allow you to show days in your calendar when you didn't feel well. Maybe even use some color coded text or emoticon to show how you feel for a given timeframe. Green, yellow, red, or whatever scale you want to use. [I may even try this now in fact].
