Buttons improved?

I had an Epix2 shortly after release. I returned it because the buttons were really bad. So did others. Now I'm curious if Garmin has solved these issues. Could you please give me your feedback on this as I'm still interested in this great watch. Thanks in advance. Michael

Received mine last week. No issues with buttons. Feel the same as the fenix 5X Plus it replaced.

Just received an epix last week, the left middle button doesn't click at all and is completely stuck, the bottom left button is mushy like my forerunner was, it can be pushed in but doesn't have a tactile 'click' feeling. Top left and both buttons on the right are fine.

Had 2 watches from release. Problems with buttons.

Got a replacement from Garmin 2 weeks ago. Perfect buttons.

Hi. The first epix I bought on the day of release actually had problems with the buttons from the beginning, basically each button clicked differently. I had additional connectivity issues with external sensors with this watch, so Garmin replaced it with a new one. I have had the new watch (with a much higher serial number) for about 2 months now. Initially all buttons on the new watch worked perfectly, clicked perfectly. Unfortunately, for some time now, the middle and upper left button work a little differently. Some days they click, some days they are "silent". It's weird, but I got used to it. Garmin says they use a special lubricant in the buttons which is why it happens I think. In my opinion, nothing to worry about, the watch is great nonetheless.

So even if you have so-called perfect buttons at the moment, this may change in the future.

Received a replacement 2 weeks ago. Every button has a perfect and tactile click.

Bought mine the 1st of june and it is as clicky as the F6 it has replaced.

Thank you for your information. Overall ist seems as if Garmin improved these issues. So maybe I give the Epix one more try. But first I check out my new 955solar... ;-)

I have received my epix some days ago and realized now that the „down“ button does not respond from time to time when I click on it. Such an expensive watch must have perfect buttons. I hope the replacement will have perfect buttons, beside this issue I love the watch!
