Garmin Epix 2 First Impressions

First impressions from an average user.

Garmin Epix 2 is a lot lighter than expected. I'm coming from Garmin 945 LTE and thought maybe the weight would be an issue while running and sleeping. Weight is a non issue. I have the white Sapphire (lighter than Slate).
Gestures have been flawless for me. No need for Always On Display (AOD). This is good news to get the longer battery life.
For a big beautiful AMOLED screen, battery life is incredible. In comparison, Apple Watch must be charged daily. Garmin Epix 2 blows the Apple Watch when it comes to battery life.
Sleep mode is perfect during night time and sleeping.
The touch screen is very responsive but I still prefer buttons especially while running.
The biggest negative is the price but $200 off using BCBS made the price a little more tolerable.

IMHO, Epix 2 is the best Garmin has to offer. No regrets.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the BCBS discount? On my member page it lists a 20% Garmin discount, but when I click the link everything is full price, I'm not given any sort of code, and the URL looks like the normal Garmin site.
