IOS 16 BETA and CONNECT ?

Anyone have already ios 16 beta running on his/her iPhone together with CONNECT ?

Want to try out the new ios 16 but it would be a no if CONNECT would not work and thus rendering my EPIX 2 useless.

For those running a Beta version of iOS, until Apple has released the iOS official version, you could run into minor issues using the Garmin Connect Mobile APP with your Beta iOS.

iOS 16 beta 2 is out. I'm not seeing any change in the Garmin Weather issue. Still appears to be broken.

Why can't Garmin make available a beta version of Garmin Connect via Apple's TestFlight. That is the whole point of the Beta program.

I am using the iOS 16 Public Beta 1 that was released a few days ago, together with Epix 2 - 9.15 alpha firmware and the latest version of Garmin Connect iOS (4.56.0.44) and have found some bugs with the synching of metrics/activities from the Epix 2 to my iOS 16 beta version of Garmin Connect.

The issue I am finding is that my activities do not synch to my Garmin Connect iOS Mobile from my watch via bluetooth. Even when I try to manually sync and/or wait several hours.

I believe this has only happened since I installed the iOS 16 public beta (but I could be wrong). The easiest work around is just to use WiFi synching to get the activities uploaded, and then they will end up showing in Garmin Connect iOS Mobile.

This could just be specific to me, but sharing in case others are looking to install the latest beta/alpha releases.

Yes, WiFi syncing is the only workaround for now. This problem has been mentioned in the release notes and a fix can take a while.

How are you guys getting a GC update? I just checked and I'm not seeing an updated version. My current version is 4.56.0.44 (and I'm not seeing any fix for the Garmin weather issue with the iOS 16 beta).

I just did an app update on the App Store on the iPhone and the update was there (with a number of others) Version 4.57

That's why I'm puzzled. I see no new version of the app in the app store and when I look at my specific App Store account, I can see several other apps updated today, but nothing related to Garmin. Weird. I guess I'll have to wait...

Yip maybe they do a phased time rollout. What location are you? I'm in US
