I set my watch sleep time at 2pm-10 everyday. I don't think it really tells the watch when to track sleep. I think it just activates the dim watch face and turns off bluetooth so your phone won't bug you with notifications. Now if I could only figure out how to actually sleep on this goofy shift (12am-8:30).
It does get the watch to look for signs of sleep during those times which basically falls down to is the arm with the watch on it moving?
Side note, that's a hard shift to adjust to, or was for me, I did it for a cuople of years and ended up being an insomniac pretty bad to the point of getting 1 or 2 hours of bad sleep a day. But I know a graveyard shift mainframe operator who loves it and has done it for 20 years. We're all snowflakes, unique and precious. :)
Yes, I don't know how people can do it. Couldn't even begin to do it before I started taking melatonin.
I had it set up from 00:01 to 23:59
Do you find that this drains battery?
Did not see a difference
Interesting. You’d think it would because it’s activating those sleep tracking features. Do you just disable the features like silencing notifications etc? Otherwise you’d never get notifications the entire day.
With my old 245 not a problem because my phone was on no notifications. Now with my new fenix 7 I just activate sleep mode
Wait, so you use schedule to set the entire day, but don’t have it go to sleep mode? And then you manually put it in sleep mode when you’re actually about to sleep?
For my fenix yes
