Cadence problem since 8.21?

First of all I am only walking and running.

Secondly this might be a Garmin Connect problem and I am on the wrong forum.

But it started the same day I got the 8.21 software upgrade.

When I run I use HRM pro (I think that is the name, it is the red one) when running but not then I am walking.

Problem:

Yesterday I got the software 8.21 and I did a 4.3K walk. Previously on phone app, Cadence is not to be found, on Web it is. But yesterdays walk reported on the phone app a graph stating a Cadence of about 210 but in text it is 105. Same is shown on web. Never had (to my knowledge) any Cadence garph before during walks and only got the numbers on the web.

Today I did a 5K run. More or less the same problem. Now I am using the HRM pro. Cadence is reported to be an average of 156 in text but the graph shows about double.

Same for me on yesterday's run on FW8.18 - the average and max numbers are correct but the graph values are doubled.

I can see the same on a friend of mine's activity from today recorded with Fenix6 as well, so I guess this is a Connect issue, not related to a specific device.

I think it's Garmin Connect problem, and since the app pulls data from the web service they both share it. The cadence looks fine in other platforms fed from Garmin's FIT files.

So it probably is a pure coincidence then that this happened at the same time my watch updated.

I actually found a couple more activities further back in my activivities list that has the same error.

Yes. An unfortunate coincidence. This is one of those moments when even the most loyal Garmin customer throws their hands in the air! Both GC and GE are causing problems. Fortunately neither of them affect the ability to train.

Without constantly broken Garmin watch would also have the ability to train, but would have 1000 euros more in the pocket :-)

Garmin connect issue, as the charts on connect app and web are both double counting the actual results.

I know the text values for mine are correct as I run with a cadence gauge to confirm my cadence is in the correct zone, and I definitely know I was in the 170's per my text and definitely not in the 340s per the graph (don't even think I could ever get to that level - possibly sprinting but not even sure then).
