Is there a way to show seconds on the digital watch face

I have customized one of the new watch faces to the best of my ability, but I don't see an option to show seconds. Seeing seconds is useful as a short timer. Is there a way I can also show seconds on a face such as below:

It does depend on the watch face. Some digital watch faces have second as an option, some don't. If the one you want to use doesn't you can choose one that does. Contact Garmin Support asking them to add seconds to the one that doesn't.
