After 8.18 Wunderground and AccuWeather not working

After the 8.18 update, my Epix 2 isn't showing weather data in a stock watch face or weather glance, and the glances for WeatherUnderground and Accuweather don't show data. The stock Garmin weather glance also has no data.

I've power cycled the watch and my phone.

I've checked for app updates in the store, and the apps are up to date.

Other info is showing on the watch as usual. Notification of emails, sunrise/sunset times, and others are working. So the watch is connected to the Garmin app on the phone. But no weather apps are working now.

If you're taling about my WU app, what does it say on then screen? Try long pressing the middle left button when it's in full screen and selecvt "get current location". That will start GPS and when the location is known, data will be requested.

Thanks for your help! What is says is "No Phone", but the watch is definitely connected to the phone. The "get current location" didn't fix it.

For reference, the Garmin weather app is just blank, and Accuweather says "No Data".

The "no phone" message could be from the last time it tried to get data, and with the default settings, that could be in the last 15 minues. Try rebootong bothe the watch and your phone, and check the connection status in GCM on your phone. The garmin and the phone are not communicating - that's why you're not seeing data in the native widget either Make sure GCM is still running on the phone even if the app isn't open.

I used Connect IQ on my phone and opened up the Acuweather Minutecast app I have on the watch. It showed a "connect" button, or something like that. I followed the instructions and that got all the weather apps working again. Power cycle on both phone and watch didn't help.

Do you still see "no phone" with the WU app? Make sure GCM is open and running.
