The weather widget not updating

Epix 2 Weather Widget is not updating. Is it possible to fix it or to cancel the interval manually?

Now I’m running 8.16 beta OS but it was the same when used 7.35

Which phone/OS? Do you have GCM allowed to access data set to Always?

I’m running iOS.
yes, everything is “allowed to always” (garmin connect, weather app)

What do you have set for Weather Location? Turn on Connection alerts to check when your watch connects/disconnects from the phone. Some users are reporting frequent connect/disconnect issues, although most of the problems there appear to be with Pixel phones.

In which case report to the outdoors team using the email address provided. Perhaps also contact Garmin Support in your region.

the background location of connect app must be allowed to always

Everything is turned to always.
Is it possible to change the interval? Sometimes it’s updating every 20-30 min but sometimes- 1 hour

Same issue here. Garmin suggested me to return the watch!? how crazy is that?

Same issue here. Neither the Epix 2 nor my Edge 1030 receives current weather data
