Epix 2 suddenly reboots

During the run where you had the post-activity reboot, did you do anything different?

In approximately 50 activities so far, I have had TWO post activity reboots. Both occasions were the only times when I had a hot-key to display the Watch Face and used that during activity.

I added time of day field to a data screen and used that since and had no further reboots.

Probably worth including:

1) What firmware are you on?

2) What 3rd party Connect IQ data fields/watch faces etc are you using?

There is an issue with the current 7.35 production firmware where (some) Connect IQ fields/widgets/apps seem to be causing intermittent reboots when saving an activity. This has been fixed in the 8.x beta firmware (but other issues have been introduced). If you don't want to try the beta then it may be worthwhile removing your ConnectIQ fields/screens etc and see if the reboot still occurs.

I’m on 7.35.  I use the dozen run screen.  Could that do it?

I also have the New Moon watch face by Reno design.  

I would suggest removing the dozen run screen and try an activity and if it still happens remove the watch face and try again. I had a different run screen and had reboot issues until I removed it (or moved to the 8.x betas).

Thanks.  Very helpful.  I’ll just pull out the dozen run and maybe pair back watch faces until the next update.
