Weight of Epix 2
Weight of Epix 2
The standard band packaged with the Epix weighs about 26g. If you’re concerned about weight I suggest one of the Abanen nylon bands sold on Amazon. They provide a secure and snug fit for activities and weigh about 6g, bringing the total weight of the watch to about 56g.
I was concerned that using the band would make the watch feel top heavy, but that’s not the case at all.
Here is the weight with a nylon velcro strap.

I dont find it ....
Weight of the titanium model is 70 grams. I wear it 24/7 and think it is also light on the wrist during runs and prefer the metal look and feel over a full plastic body of a forerunner. I had a 645music in the past.
The Epix 2 without any band weights 46g, I just checked and with the plastic band it comes from Garmin the weight is 71g.
I'm wearing it day/night and don't feel it at all. It's pretty comfortable in my opinion.
I went from a Forerunner 230 (plastic, very lightweight) to a 645 Music (a little heavier than the FR230) to a Fenix 6 Pro Solar (not a 6X, just regular 6, and that seemed fairly heavy and bulky to me), and now a stainless steel model Epix (wanted the silver color bezel) and the Epix feels much lighter than the 6 Pro, and also seems not as bulky, with the new design of the bezel. I wore all these various devices 24/7 365, and am very pleased with the Epix. It's an excellent device. Not too heavy in my opinion.
I came from a 945, and currently have the steel version of the Epix. It is heavier per the specs, but I don’t notice the difference at night on my wrist (I wear it 24/7). The weight difference is more notable if you are holding it in your palm, or by the end of the wrist strap….when balanced on the wrist, the incremental weight isn’t something that I notice.
I don't even notice it. Though when I occasionally wear it on my right wrist, it seems heavy and bulky, as it's not accustomed to a watch.
