Charging Epix on the Go options

Hi All.
Finally got notification my Epix is on the way to me.

I have a fenix 6X Pro Solar currently.

I'm looking into way that I can charge on the go (mostly for Trail Runs, and mostly for backup or Ultras if needed) reassurance more than anything.

Do the 3rd Party charging pucks work for the Epix ?

I was going to buy one or two of these, and cut them down to make them thinner (Reddit post of someone already doing this)

And using probably this power bank https://www.ecoxgear.com.au/products/ecoxcharge-clip
I haven't really found anything smaller, and portable...

I have set my Epix for Ultra Running using an external HR belt, Gesture mode (this works fine in long races) and set up a custom power mode. My battery estimates are quite good using DCRainmaker’s analyzer…

No, it won't damage the device. All that matters is correct voltage (5V DC) and at least 500 mA.

Thanks for sharing. Can you take a pic when the Epix is attached to the puck that shows that the HR sensor fits in the cut? They are quite expensive (at least on Amazon in Sweden) but if it is a good fit they are worth it.

My phone and laptop use USB-C. Having the adapter means that I'm using the same chargers for everything when I'm traveling. Also, that means that the OEM charger can stay at home and not have to be packed and unpacked every time I'm going somewhere. The adapter just stays in my bag for when I need it.

any charges with 5V will do.. even simple usb port on pc. it charges 5V 0.35A around 1.7W.. no special fast chare options like on phones.. so evey power bang will be good enough to.

it someone would made 3mm flat connector you could even charge it while in use. .. but i don thin someone thought of making it.

I use this one from amazon:

The adapter is ok for charging (via battery pack or wall charger) and also for data transfer computer/Express.

It can also be used to charge during use/activity, but sits a bit crooked (and you should probably put something underneath on the other side).
