Its may only be me, but allow me to share a concern with Garmin Connect workout editor:
- I must state right at the beginning, that for me its almost perfect, easy to use and build even complex workout schemes.
BUT there is one big miss (at least for me) and it is: rest period handling.
Lets say, eg:
- you do an exercise consist 10 set (each set with 3 reps)
- you have 45 sec rest between each set
- after this you want to have 2 minutes rest before the next round of 10 set of second excercise
So you build a workout with "Round" where:
This creates the PROBLEMS:
1) You end of having 2 min 45 seconds rest time between the exercise, because "round" completes the rest even after the last set whit-in the round, so its add up with the rest time between the exercise rounds.
2) While the Watch indicates the first 45 rest correctly (i mean counting down), the second rest time indicated as normal time, so not counting down.
- I know I could add each sets separately not in rounds, but thats would kill the idea to build workouts easy and logical way
Possible solutions would be:
A) Add a checkbox/selector box with-in exercise panel: if that checked, the rest time after the LAST set within a round, is ignored.
