Does the Epix 2 allow 2-key lock/unlock for both screen and buttons?

I have set my FR935 and FR745 to be able to be locked with a 2-key press, and unlocked with the same key combination.

I started doing this when I starteed using these watches for downhill skiing, where my jacket pressing against the buttons kept unlocking it by accident.

Can one do this with the epix 2?  That is, you can set it to ONLY be unlocked with 2 keys, and both the keys and screen are unresponsive while locked in this fashion?

    I believe you want auto lock - Menu >> System >> Auto Lock

    You will need to long press a button to unlock

    Auto Lock

    Allows you to lock the buttons and touchscreen automatically to prevent accidental button presses and touchscreen swipes.

    • Use the During Activity option to lock the buttons and touchscreen during a timed activity.
    • Use the Not During Activity option to lock the buttons

     Nope, that's a different feature.  I turned on auto-lock for my watches before, but the watch still unlocked because one-button unlock was the default.  You need to enable 2-button lock/unlock.  I was wondering if the Epix 2 also has this feature.

    It's one of the Hot Key settings on the two watches I have.  I would presume the Epix 2 has it, but wanted to make sure.  The link doesn't say what Hot Keys are available on the Epix 2, unfortunately.

    I've never used it on the epix. Only have a hot key set for screenshots, so learning something Slight smile

    Menu >> System >> Hot Keys >> Select the preferred button or button combo >> Lock/Unlock Device

    I can confirm that 2-key press can lock/unlock screen and buttons at the same time on Epix.

    I posted a question about whether the lock/unlock hotkey (with 2-key combo) was available on the Epix 2.

    In the middle of the discussion, after one person said it could be done, a moderator locked the discussion.

    I wanted to reply, say thank you, upvote some of the replies, but the moderator locked it before I could do any of that!  This was a new thread I just created today.

    Moderators - why are you being so eager to lock a thread before the thread-starter has had a chance to reply to the last post?  Let us reply and give it a couple of days before you lock the thread!

    No idea, why it was locked - and yes, you can lock/unlock the Epix via 2 button combo (via hotkeys)

    Yes, this often happens here - mostly without any traceability, has also been thematized by several people lately.

    Thank you!  I think we have the answer, but I just wasn't able to reply to the answers yet.  Will do that now, and then feel free to lock it again.
