I'm trying to find out how to do suggested work outs on the new epic. When I go to training then workouts on Garmin connect it's only showing strength,yoga cardio pilates workouts.
Is there no running or cycling work outs it can suggest for me?

Make sure you have met the criteria to get the suggestions. Here is a good read:

Suggested workouts are only on device, not in the app. But under training in the app, there are some static ones.
If you aren't seeing the Suggested Workouts after meeting the criteria noted in the link above then you might need to turn them on,
Select the run/cycle activity. Make sure you are on the start screen then press middle left to go to settings. Scroll down to Training, Workouts. You should then see Today’s Suggestion and any other custom workouts you’ve saved. Once in Today’s Suggestion you can select it then scroll down to enable/disable the prompt.
I think you have to have all the metrics as mentioned by D_Este. I love the structured workouts created in Garmin Connect though. The nice thing is that when the activity comes over to Strava you can see the different stages of the workout on there as well. I also love the updated Strength workout feature, I covered that in my mini review, love the graphic body map.
