Bright Red Silicone Band Replacement? (Not Garmin)

I ordered a red silicon band on Amazon, but it was a very dark red, if not burgundy red. I'm trying to match the vivid red the screen is capable of with a watch face with a silicone band and NOT pay the $50 Garmin wants. Anyone have a lead?

At risk of getting abused but there are no end of posts commenting about how expensive these watches are yet some folk are willing to risk everything on a cheap replacement watch strap rather than pay…

Along with some others on this thread, I too consider myself a band 'expert' and for my money the various units on AliExpress cannot be beat - for BOTH price and quality. I own probably 20 different bands…

That does not look like what's on the Amazon page. Unless you ordered a different model, should be red & black, not solid red...

Similar to my orange ANCOOL band, which is orange & black

Not the bright red you're looking for. Looks like you'd be better off with what Aleksandr posted.

Well I caved, and bought the Garmin Flaming Red Band for $50. UGGH. But it's the only band I could find out of all 'red' ones that was the brightest color red. Got it on Amazon, so easy to return. I also got this on ebay for $9. I'm not sure if I'd run with it, but wearing around town not working out might work.

I have the ‘flame red’ one too but I’m not completely satisfied with the colour. I have been searching for a bright red strap myself. Started a thread on Reddit but no help. I finally bought the ‘Laser Red’ one from the Garmin site and it’s the best I have found. Better red colour than the ‘Flame Red.’ Pictures posted on the internet always seem to alter the colour which is annoying.

On the Garmin site, flaming red and laser red look identical. Thank God I can send these back. All in all, first world problems. I'm glad I can whine about ugly watch bands on a thousand dollar watch! Go capitalism, GO!

I consider myself a bit of an expert on cheap replacement bands!? I have several and have never had a problem. The important issue is the buckle and I believe the buckle should be fixed with a Torx screw like the original Garmin and not a cheap compression bar. So I have bought cheap straps from Alibaba but sourced screw on buckles elsewhere and replaced the buckles. Someone mentioned Notocity. Just be very particular as to the buckle shown in the photo of the product you are going to buy. It should have the Torx screw.

These are the buckles form Alibaba, (they have run out of the silver buckles), but almost none of the Garmin buckles are silver anymore. the Captain Stirling 22mm is about the only one left in silver!!

I prefer these straps to original Garmin straps they feel less "plasticky" and more "rubbery" so i keep my original Garmin straps for resale.

Just my tuppence, but have spent hours on this and an happy with the results.

I own probably 20 different bands, yes 20. I don't swim in the ocean with my Garmins, so I have no concern about the band causing my Garmin to sink to the depths. If you search closely on AliExpress you can get bands literally identical (or even better than) the stock $50 Garmin ones. I did recently buckle under (get it...haha) and buy one of the Garmin sandstone color bands for my Epix - it's just that spending FIFTY DOLLARS for essentially a $.75 bit of silicon just makes me chafe. I also see the pushback at times about the hardware - from my testing the Quick-Fit hardware on the AliExpress bands is as good or better, again, than the Garmin bands. I can buy 5 bands for $10 on AliExpress - no reason not to, in my humble opinion.
