No Caller ID Name Displayed

When I receive a call, the phone number is displayed on the Epix, but not the caller name. On my phone it shows both number and name.

I could swear I used to see the caller ID name on my Fenix 6, but I checked, and only the number there also. I don't know if my memory is bad or something has changed.

I don't see any setting in Garmin Connect on the phone for this.

Are you seeing both caller ID name and number on your watch? Is there a setting for that? Thanks.

If the caller is in my contact list, I see the name.

If the caller is not in my contacts, I see the phone number.

Check permissions…

Check permissions. Garmin Connect needs access to your contacts. Personally, I just allow all permissions.

Yea, I also think this is a permissions thing. I always allow all so that everything just works. I see names if they are in my contacts too.

Thanks - giving permissions to contacts fixed it. It must have gotten changed somehow, because I'm certain I used to see the names.

You have to add the permissions new when you add a new watch.
