Actual Shipping Times?

For those of you who have ordered the Epix 2 sometime between late January and now (i.e. when it said 5-8 weeks for shipping), how long did it actually take to ship? I ordered mine on 2/1 with an expected shipping status of 5-8 weeks but I've seen people in similar situations get theirs much earlier. Trying to be realistic with waiting but also want to see what is possible.

I ordered mine 1/27 and received it 2/8. According to Garmin they received a small batch earlier then expected.

Just saw online Best Buy has the black in stock with estimated 5 day delivery and REI has the silver in stock

I ordered mine on 3/2 and on 4/5 was told it wouldn't arrive until 4/22 even though estimated shipping was 3-5 weeks. I was also told that retailers receive watches sooner than Garmin (wtf?!?). Anyway…

I ordered mine from MEC (Canada) on Monday. It arrived today, Thursday. Three days.

I think that there sometimes are returns or cancelled store orders but in general the expected delivery is 5-8 weeks. Seems to be the same almost everywhere.

Yeah could be. Although it doesn’t seem like the orders are being filled as “first come, first serve” since he ordered his 2 days ago. Ah well, I’ll post when mine ships!

Anyway, I made a few calls to some local shops and was able to find one the same day. I went and bought it, then cancelled my order with Garmin. I suggest everyone do the same. I'm wearing my new watch right now.

Cancel your order and purchased from Best Buy to skip the 5-8 weeks shipping timeframe. I had the same problem. I ordered from here on 4/9 and was told ‘5 - 8 weeks’. I canceled my order on 5/11, ordered on Best Buy, and it is tracked to be delivered 5/17!!!
