Left/Right swipe on main watch screen does not exist - why?

I do nearly ALL my payments with my watch - especially handy when cycling, no money or wallet needed. My wife owns the Venu 2 and she can just, on the main screen, swipe left to bring on screen the PIN for online payments(NFC). This feature is not available on the Epix 2 - you still need to assign payment to a hotkey and start the payment process manually with a button press. The Epix 2 is MUCH more advanced than the Venu 2 so for the life of me I cannot fathom why it does not have a left/right swipe feature on the main screen - only up and down to scroll through the glances/widgets. It is is frustrating that the Venu 2 has more on screen/touch features than the Epix 2! Another one: Venu 2 you can left/right swipe on heartrate glance to see history - no can do on the Epix. Sigh....still love the watch though!

My wife's Venu Sq (1) has the alarms on a swipe left. Extremely useful!

I add feedback to the AMEX app every single day until they support garmin pay. I am so sick of using only amex and not being able to add to my watch. Hate it.

I use a virtual card service (Revolut - not sure if it's available yet in the US - look it up) and can generate new MC or Visa cards which I then add to Garmin pay.

Same here! I have epix 2 now, but previously I was using Vivoactive 4. Vivoactive has option to swipe left and right so you can not only add your wallet, but during the activity you can come back to the main screen. Epix doesn't have any of these. It's extremely difficult to come back to the main screen during any activities, and you cannot swipe left/right. I don't understand Garmin policy. They create their top watches but navigation between different options is getting worse.

During activity/general as long as you haven't changed the default for your lap button (right bottom) you can easily get back to your home screen - just long press the lap/back button and straight back to home screen.

The missing functionality with not being able to pan data like HR etc is now the same - took long enough but they got there in the end.

Really only difference is the lack of a left to right and right to left swipe on home screen - which could both add additional functionality in terms of hotkey feature. Would like to see both with hotkey option which lincludes opening settings/menu - and control wheel.

Have you tried to make a factory reset. Garmin support always tells me that this solves a lot of issues.

Always the first thing to do.
