You hide/unhide the SSID (network name) through your router menu.

I cannot tell you how many hours I have wasted trying to fix so many issues... My headphones are connected... I have spotify connected but when I try to connect music it says my headphones cannot connect…
I am sorry you are having an issue. Please also test other Wi-Fi networks if possible to help confirm if the issue is consistent.
Please review this Support Center article:

If you continue to not be able to connect to Wi-Fi, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region.
Did you try adding the network manually (ie not picking its SSID, but typing it) and from the watch (not connect)?
I have 2 Garmin devices on my network (other being a 66i) and both need to be configured manually from the device.
No, but I will give a try. Thank you...
For what it’s worth: I have no issues with my Epix on my wlan. Just mentioning this so we can exclude a general WiFi issue.
I also have WPA2 and additionally MAC address filtering. No connection problems.
network has been set up using the connect app on an iPhone.
Figured it out.
Background: My wifi network is hidden and WPA2 protected.
Solution: As soon as I unhid the network name my epix 2 pro connected to it without issue.
"Well what if I don't want my wifi name being broadcasted?"
Solution for that: Simply just re-hide it.
I just tested it on my watch on my network and it's connecting. However, I will note that it doesn't stay connected, it basically will search and "successfully" connect to your hidden network since it "knows" it now. Once it finds it, the watch will use the PPSK for the network from when it was broadcasted to authenticate to it, and it'll work as long as your password is the same as the one on the watch.
If you change your wifi network password you'll also need to update it on the watch.
Use the Wi-Fi sync feature on the watch to check if it's able to connect to the network if you need to verify.
