Always On Display - Hotkey toggle

Is it possible to setup a hotkey to toggle Always on Display between on and off? There are certain times of day when AOD is really not necessary for me - driving, meetings, etc. and I would like to be able to quickly toggle AOD similar to the way the touch screen can be toggled on and off with a hotkey.

I solved with the following method: edit energy saver power profile to only modify the aod state. After that I put the energy saver icon in the circle menu (top left long push) so I can switch easily with…

Go To System -> Hotkeys -> Display

Thats not the aod on/off rather than the display on/off. If you switch off the display with that hotkey, you can't wake up the screen with a gesture for example or notifications will not wake it up etc.

You are right. You cannot switch to gesture mode. However, if you tap the touchscreen or press a button the display it will turn on

Yes but that's a different function, not the aod on/off mode.

Thanks everyone. Maybe this will be something Garmin will consider in a future firmware update.

Try it with the dnd mode. Setup, than hotkey. Ready.

For me it is not a solution. DND mode is needed for night (at least for me), and should switch off screen, notifications etc.
