Epix 2 maps

Hi, 

I was interested in the garmin map img files installed on EPIX 2, and I was able to associate all IMG files with a map, except one. 

So, what I could identified are (if any of you may be interested):

gmapbmap.img: - Worldwide base map
gmaptz.img - Timezone map

D1399430A.img : Golf Map - CourseView Europe, Middle East & Africa
D2419380A.img : Golf Map - CourseView Pacific
D2471430A.img : Golf Map - CourseView Americas
D4713070A.img : DEM Map EU 2020.10
D6184110A.img : TopoActive Europe 2021 20. East v21.20
D6185110A.img : TopoActive Europe 2021 20. West v21.20
D9486000A.img :TopoActive Europe 2021 20. Central v21.20

BUT, there is one (pretty large: 2.7GB) which neither I could not identified, nor Basecap could load it:

D7726060A.img : ?

Also, it should not even be there, as Garmin Express installer doesnt indicate anything else installed. 

Is there anyone may know what is this ?

    I don't know for sure, but it might be the global ski maps since that is the only thing I see that is missing from your list.

    I thought the same, but the strange thing is, that explore doesnt show it, while it should, at least it did on Fénix 6x pro for sure.

    Might be "TopoActive RDA Europe 2021.20" which shows as 2.7GB on Map Manager. RDA stands for Road Drawing Accelerator.

    You right !  I just missed it becaue until now Garmin always named it as gmaprda.img Thank you !!

    That's what it is (TopoActive RDA Europe 2021.20) and I have a ticket with support on this. Garmin Express adds it when installing the Europe map, but there is no way to remove it on the watch or Garmin express except for removing the file itself and if you reinstall the Europe map, it will keep adding (more) copies of it on the watch.

    Also, when installing the Europe map from Garmin Express, it's marked "Updated Available" on the watch, but watch-based update fails.

    Note this is on a US watch with North America pre-installed. Obviously, there is something fishy going on. Could be just my watch.

    What happens, if a user delete the files? Is it possible to install them again via Garmin Express?

    Interesting, I always move them manually using file explorer, and never had an issue. Strange

    For the TopoActive map files for sure. For the Golf and Ski maps, it looks like it but I haven't tried.

    Good to know what I can remove from watch storage! Hope that delete golf maps by file manager will not occur any problems.

    Update 09 Feb: I bit the bullet and spent the 3 hours to download the Europe map from the watch:

    It actually installed D7726060B.img (with a B at the end, not a A - so that's probably why the watch wanted to update it). There is no "TopoActive RDA Europe 2021.20" listed in the maps.
