Health snapshot not working!!!

I have a problem with the Healt Snapshot function.

It has been working for the first two days when running on 6.20.

Now on 7.20 it only records avg HR, avg respiratory rate and avg stress. No SPo2 and no HRV!

Anyone else experiencing this too?

I have turned the watch on and off a couple of times but issue still there … frustrating !

Settings => system => Datacollection or datarecording (don't know the english name and too lazy to set it too englisch). There you can set to record data every second or samrt and if your want to register…

Mine works fine - but did you "reboot" your watch after the 7.20 upgrade?

I do not know why - but whenever you upgrade a Garmin watch - it is good to shut the watch down afterward the upgrade is complete - and then turn it on again. It has solved a lot of issues....

Perhaps try a hard reset - press and hold top left until shutdown (about 20s) then restart.

If you move too much it won't be able to take those readings. Have you tried sitting absolutely still?

(Same as normal oxygen measurement)

Also check settings to see if the setting: measure HRV is on)

Thanks, Where do I activate the measure HRV setting? I cannot find it anywhere!

I try and do my health snapshot at the same time sat at my desk. If I have my arm on the desk I tend not to get the SPO reading. If I put my arm against my body with my hand in my lap it's more reliable. I think this is because there is less chance of movement when against my body.

You could also test if the issue is with the Health Snapshot by doing a manual Pulse OX test and see how arm placement affects this to help figure out best position for the Health Snapshot.

Not working at all on my Fēnix 7s with FW 8.15. My 7x running 6.57 produced HRV numbers for RMSSD and SDRR. The numbers seemed to vary wildly. Maybe Garmin has removed them until they can improve the readings, but I don’t know.

Wish Garmin would give us some guidance.
