Epix AMOLED display battery drain vs MIP

I think it's great having to charge a device only once a month. It makes it unnecessary to bring another charger with you.

AMOLED is different tech - each pixel you use needs to be lit up (except black - those pixels are off - and why you use black watch faces) with uses battery, and why generally you use them in AOD off, or if you have AOD on they move to an ambient watch face (thinner lines so less to light up and generally a dimmer screen). So in this case yes if seconds are on and active its going to burn battery, but fine for awake faces as you are burning battery just by having the watch face awake. In ambient mode you definitely don't want them as will chew battery.

For MIP the battery drain is pretty negligible but yes you could save a bit by having them off.

How problematic is to have a 2 gram adapter with you?

Supplement: arrived today. The adapter is ok for chairing (via battery pack or wall charger) and also for data transfer computer/Express.

It can also be used to charge during use/activity,  but sits a bit crooked (and you should probably put something underneath on the other side).
