Coming over from the Fenix (several of them), as I'm sure many here are... any chance of a beta program for Epix 2? @odsweng @Julianna_ODQA @Garmin-Jimmy
Hoping so!

After years of buying Garmin products I'd kinda resigned myself to being the beta programme....
Tongue in cheek comment. But pretty sure there will be beta software to test for both the F7 and the Epix relatively soon.
Perhaps then need to start a sweepstake on how long it will take for the first…
Garmin never starts with a final software and Fenix/Epix are the devices who will get the newest beta. There are enough test customers.
It'll come, possibly tomorrow if not the day after!
Hah! HOW DO YOU KNOW SO MUCH ?! Great news

Perhaps then need to start a sweepstake on how long it will take for the first post about excessive battery drain lol!

Not even sure what this means.
Garmin have always provided updates and improvements from initial release onwards. That's a good thing isn't it? Nothing electronic is ever bug free.
And don't we all like to see things added at no extra cost that were not included in the initial purchase?
Yeah, you guys should really buy a suunto once and then see how low firmware and update quality can go.
I consider the Garmins pretty high standard comparing it to their competitors. And not all provide an open beta where so many last minute bugs can be resolved that just are not found in testing. Think of the high cardinality having so many sport modes and customisation options.
You don`t have to buy a Suunto: buy a Garmin Descent MK1/2.

NO! The watch has everything needed. Just need to keep fixing bugs, not adding more things. refine the code. Just make it better.
I think we are talking about the functionality included that does not work. Not about adding new things.
We are talking about a $1000 watch here...
