Epix 2 rebooting at random

Very pleased with the watch overall, I upgraded from a 6X Pro Solar. My major gripe has been (outside of the horrible buttons) that my watch has now restarted a total of 3-4 times, semmingly at random. Once during an activity and the rest in normal watch mode.

Anyone else?

Maybe it's a hardware issue with your watch. Never observed reboots so far. Using it for two weeks.

I'd check you're running the latest firmware which is currently 7.2. Firmware starting with 6 has had issues reported and 7.2 is marked as the initial release.

I had one random reboot on v 6.55.

I am on 7.20. Getting the watch exchanged because of the horrible buttons anyway so hopefully get to kill two birds with one stone.

Exactly the same problem with my epix 2 ,it happened 6-7 times , 2 times with total loss of datas when choosing to save the activity . After rebooting ,the activitiy is described as invalid , not yet fixed with 7.35 firmware .(activities with cardio belt garmin red and sometimes with bluetooth headphones)...

try the beta. Fixed it for me.

Getting this behavior with non-Garmin watch faces, but also some of my settings (menu items, etc) is lost every time!
