Epix 2 won't connect to Bluetooth headphones

Just bought the new epix 2 and it won't connect to 2 pairs of Bluetooth headphones.

Samsung galaxy buds and Bose noise cancelling 700s.

Anyone any ideas?

If they are paired with other devices eg your phone then turn your phone off while you pair with the watch.
I have to do this the first time I pair with my AirPods. Once paired they will connect every time…

I have similar issue with Jaybird Vista 2. However the pairing succeed with Sony WH-1000XM4 (too big to take for a run!).

Tried re-booting, re-setting, re-pairing outside where no other devices in sight. Didn't work. Considering to ship the Epix2 back.
