Hi,
Coming from a Venu 2, I had it set up to autostart activity after 5 mins walking for instance.
Is this feature not available on the Epix 2 or is it just me not being able to find the settings for this?

Very good question. I really didn't think about it. I would rather like that feature.
A rather lengthy discussion on the fenix 6 forum about this - Activity auto start?
You might find your answer there. There are valid pros and cons. Lifestyle watch (vivo, venu) vs. sports watch (forerunner…
I also have the same question.
I could find the Auto-pause (when we stop for some seconds or minutes during a walk or a bike ride), but not an Auto-Start (especially for the situations we forget to start…
Sadly I think it’s not available on the Epix/F7. I also own a Venu 2 and miss that feature.

yeah would be great for my walking activities
My GF has the Venu 2 and hers auto recorded an elliptical activity and recognized the activity properly. We should have more of this for Epix and Fenix. It clearly works on the much cheaper watches.
you waste your time here.
not part of the software - would suggest requesting it as a feature update.
Note- on the venu 2 did it just record it in the calendar or was it recorded as a proper activity that you can see in the activity history? If just calendar that is IQ move and that is all it is - a calendar entry. If actual activity - that is good to see that auto start is starting to record more activity types as it used to be restricted to walking and running.
