Auto start activity

I also have the same question. 

I could find the Auto-pause (when we stop for some seconds or minutes during a walk or a bike ride), but not an Auto-Start (especially for the situations we forget to start the activity)

Sadly I think it’s not available on the Epix/F7.  I also own a Venu 2 and miss that feature.

Yeah, count me in i also would have that possibility to auto start my "walking" activities. I saw that Venu2 and Venu2 plus has that feature. Why not Fenixes or Epix? At least give my choice to activate it...

Very good question.  I really didn't think about it.  I would rather like that feature.

You might find your answer there. There are valid pros and cons. Lifestyle watch (vivo, venu) vs. sports watch (forerunner, fenix, epix), move IQ vs non move IQ, etc.

Me too... Disappointing to see features omitted on such an expensive flagship watch.

My GF has the Venu 2 and hers auto recorded an elliptical activity and recognized the activity properly.  We should have more of this for Epix and Fenix. It clearly works on the much cheaper watches.

not part of the software - would suggest requesting it as a feature update.

Note- on the venu 2 did it just record it in the calendar or was it recorded as a proper activity that you can see in the activity history? If just calendar that is IQ move and that is all it is - a calendar entry. If actual activity - that is good to see that auto start is starting to record more activity types as it used to be restricted to walking and running.
