Turn off screen notifications during activity

I set the watch up to only show and vibrate for calls during a workout but I still get screen alerts for other notifications like emails while I'm out on my run.

I only want to see calls during an activity so I don't have any distractions. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Our engineers have indicated this concern from 3 years ago was resolved with the software release 7.35, and we did not receive new reports of this after that. Since we are not on software…

There is a known issue when set to Calls only. Our engineers are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.

I have the same issue. Have talked to Garmin support. No resolution yet.

I'm also getting app notifications during activities. Really annoying, hopefully easy for Garmin to fix in the next firmware update.

Either Garmin needs to be avoided or you need to find some new “engineers”

Our engineers have indicated this concern from 3 years ago was resolved with the software release 7.35, and we did not receive new reports of this after that. Since we are not on software version 18.14, if you are experiencing this issue, this is likely a new concern. So if you are up to date with version 18.14, and are still having trouble with this, please feel free to contact me via Private Message so we can address this.
