Background color during activity

Thanks, found it. Seems to be a bug n the manual. 

I think its a bug in the software. fenix 6x can do it

Perhaps they copied it accidentally from a F6/F7 manual and because of the amoled display it is not present on the Epix?

A black background uses less battery and perhaps because to prevent burn in, it is not available?

Having an amoled screen there would be no battery efficiency to get that white background. This is not a MIP technology where there is no difference in power consumption, whether the background is black or white.

Ok, but for example during a run a white background gives less reflections than a black one

That make sense, but then I will change to F7X

I don't care about battery efficiency. This blows! you get all the bells and whistles but you can't actually physically see the numbers when you are out running?
